How to create the perfect Services Page

Essentially, you need a services page if you want to provide your target audience with a clear breakdown of your primary services in a way that they can understand quickly and easily. The page can also be an efficient way to link prospects to more information about your services, and how they can get in touch with you. As a new business owner, you can use your services page to grab your visitors’ attention within a short period of time, create a connection with them and show them exactly why they need your services.

What should you include on your services page?

Besides your services, you should include:


  1. An Elevator pitch


Before you ask your visitors to delve deeper into the details of your services, offer them a rich and precise view of what you do and the solutions you offer. This will naturally open a door for more conversation while establishing the right context to help the visitors interpret the other details they’ll come across.


  1. Proof


Your prospects will be more likely to buy when they see that your customers have had a positive experience with you. This means that you should include testimonials somewhere in your services page’s text. Look for inspiring testimonials that denote your buyer persona without forgetting to mention the main pain points and benefits being highlighted in your content.


  1. Call-To-Action


After highlighting your services and how your prospects can benefit from them, include a call-to-action to encourage them to get in touch with you. That should involve details on what they should do if they want to work with you or get more information.

You can place a button or a link that says something like, “Contact us” or “Get a quote” to get your prospects’ contact details, or to get them to contact you.
